Monster Hunter World crosses over with Horizon Zero Dawn in new DLC

Monster Hunter World hasn’t even released yet, but we already know one piece of DLC coming to the Playstation version.

Special Horizon Zero Dawn DLC will release, featuring Aloy’s bow and armor, as well as a Palico armor set making the character look completely like the red-head warrior, exclusively for Playstation platforms. They’ll even get her facial likeness.

There will be a Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration event quest – due to be distributed to players post-launch – then they’ll get access to special materials which can be forged by the Smithy. The timing of the content has yet to be determined.

In addition, Sony confirmed at the Paris Games Week that an exclusive Monster Hunter World Beta will be available for Playstation Plus Members from December 9 to December 12. You’ll be able to take on one of three epic monsters and quests in the Rotten Vale. You can fight Great Jagras against a dangerous, toxic mist, as well as the Radobaan, a beats that wears carcasses just laying around.

Monster Hunter World will release January 26th on PS4 and Xbox One with a PC version to follow.
