Famitsu conducted an interview with Metal Gear Rising writer, Etsu Tamari, in their latest magazine and gathered some more details about the game’s upcoming DLC.
The game has been announced to receive two DLC missions down the road. One will feature game foe, Jetstream Sam and the other will feature Blade Wolf, Raiden’s dog-like nemesis turned ally.
In the interview, Tamari says.
We don’t directly explain why Sam works with Desperado in the main story, so that content goes a little bit more into detail on it.
As for Blade Wolf, Tamari had this to say..
The Blade Wolf substory depicts a mission it’s running with Mistral before the encounter with Raiden.
Both DLC packs have been confirmed as prequels to the main game.
No word on release date or prices, but this certianly opens up some interesting narrative opportunities.
