A massive challenge mode is being added to Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden later this month.

Announced during a Funcom livestream, this major DLC will use existing maps in the game and adds some new enemy types with additional challenges. Leaderboard support will also be added for PC players initially, with console players to follow.

You’ll have to buy and upgrade weapons with armor unlocked along the way, and as you score, you’re rewarded new items.

More Mutant Year Zero is absolutely welcome. The game is fantastic fun and we’ll be looking forward to checking this out when it drops later this month.
