The good news is EA do have a remaster coming out this year, but it’s perhaps not the one you’re expecting.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is getting a full remaster and it’s coming for PC, PS4, XO, and Nintendo Switch.

This remaster includes enhanced visuals, upgraded UI, higher resolutions, boosted textures, more particles, and improved AA/SSAO.

The Nintendo Switch version will also run the game 1080p/30FPS in docked / 720p/30fps undocked.

The Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remaster brings the complete package together with cross-platform multiplayer, all DLC, and additional gameplay, challenges, and achievements.

It’s a really enticing package and looks like an absolute dream. If Burnout Paradise Remastered is anything to go by, we’re excited to see this one in action.
