Ubisoft sort of kept their promise. There’s no new Assassin’s Creed game this year … BUUUUUT … The Ezio Collection is coming to current-gen systems next week.
And honestly, it looks pretty darn special. Encompassing Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations, this new trailer shows you how the original games look compared to the remasters.
In some cases, the differences are quite startling.
The Collection features full 1080p resolution, as well as improved draw distance, and a load of improved visual effects.
Xu Zhiyong, lead producer on the remasters had this to say about the collection.
“The Assassins Creed franchise has always be known for stunning visuals and we’ve been very careful to keep the game feel authentic, just more beautiful. For us our work is all about dialing up the beauty and making a much loved world even more vivid, engaging & immersive for the players.”
