It looks like Pokémon Pokopia is going to be a lot more than any of us expected.

Beginning on the game’s launch day tomorrow, it seems limited time events will also be running in the game, beginning with ‘More Spores for Hoppip’.

From March 9 to March 24, this limited in-game event will allow you to befriend the Hoppip. And by collecting cotton spores found in the world during this time, you’ll be able to exchange them for themed furniture items.

Best of all, once you’ve started to tailor your habitats with your cotton content, you’ll be able to befriend both Skiploom and Jumpluff, too.

However, you won’t be able to encounter these Pokémon outside of the event, so once they’re gone, you’ll miss your chance to have them in your town.

It’s also been confirmed from launch day that you’ll be able to claim a Ditto Rug! This will be claimable from the Mystery Gifts Menu and when you ‘Get via Internet’ and will be available until January 31, 2027. But you’ll need to have played around the first half hour of the gam to get it.
