Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition launches today

In a surprise announcement at last nights’ Sony State of Play, Rayman is making a big comeback!

Celebrating 30 years since the release of the original game, a remastered version is coming to current platforms.

Available on Ubisoft +, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC Steam, and Nintendo Switch, developed in conjunction with Digital Eclipse and Ubisoft Montpellier, there will be five editions of the game bundled into the edition.

This includes the PlayStation version, as well as versions made for the Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color.

Excitingly, however, the Definitive Edition also adds new content, including the long forgotten, thought lost to time SNES prototype of the game. There will also be 120 additional levels from bonus packs, a reimagined soundtrack and new gameplay features, such as rewind and infinite lives.

The 30th Anniversary Edition also includes an Exclusive Interactive Documentary with 50 minutes of interviews, concept art, sketches and design documents.

The digital edition of Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition launches today for £19.99 and a physical edition of the game will release this June.
