Following Nintendo producing sizeable premium updates for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, the next upgrade pack releases this week.
Super Mario Party Jamboree on Nintendo Switch 1 is getting a Switch 2 edition which also includes Jamboree TV that makes use of your shiny new Switch 2 camera.
New modes are being added into the game that use the JoyCon 2 Mouse Controls, as well as the in-built Switch 2 microphone and the aforementioned camera.
With the camera, players will now appear in the game using ‘CameraPlay’ and even ‘GameShare’ as part of multiplayer activities, so you can see live player reactions.
The Switch 2 edition also comes with WQHD 1440p resolution in TV mode as well as Full HD (1080p) in handheld and tabletop mode.
By using the camera, some games now make use of full-body motion controls and there’s also some new additions, like Bowser Live where two teams compete using voice and movement as you try to impress Bowser with your moves (and vocals)
There’s even a cool rollercoaster type game where you use the mouse controls to aim and shoot at enemies as you pass, while taking on the bumps of the coaster.
In total, this upgrade adds a whopping 20 new games to Super Mario Party: Jamboree and with GameShare you can even share the game with others, whether they’re on Switch 1 /2. On Mega Wiggler’s Tree Party board, for instance, you can have four people play together on one game.
The Upgrade Pack will cost £16.99 if you already own Super Mario Party Jamboree or you can purchase the game out right for Switch 2 when it releases on July 24.
