The System Shock Remake has a release date on PC and it’s coming right at the end of May.
Originally due to release at the end of this month, Nightdive Studios are taking a bit of extra time to polish the game and will now release the full remake on May 30.
System Shock is a brand new reimagining of the classic 90s sci-fi adventure. It will also be coming to consoles – PlayStation and Xbox – at a later, undisclosed date.
New additions to the Remake include new HD visuals, an overhauled interface, new sounds and music, and update, modernised controls.
Best of all, the original voice actor of SHODAN, the game’s iconic AI villain, has returned to reprise the role.
The game is shaping up to be fantastic indeed and as huge fans of the original, we’re very excited to see this remake release.
If you pre-purchase on Steam, you’ll get System Shock 2’s Enhanced Edition at no additional charge when that drops.
System Shock releases on PC on May 30.
