Wolfenstein: The New Order puts BJ back on the frontline

Bethesda have lifted the lid on another secret project. Wolfenstein is coming back and will release on current and next-gen systems later this year.

Releasing in Q4 2013, Wolfenstein: The New Order brings the franchise back to the forefront and is a reimagining of the granddaddy of FPS games.

According to Gamespot, The New Order is set in 1960 and plays out a ‘what-if’ scenario that sees the Nazi’s winning World War II. Players assume the role of grizzled protagonist, B.J Blazkowicz who must launch a counter-offensive against the Nazis.

The game will be set in Europe and will task BJ with infiltrating Nazi strongholds, taking control of super weapons.

More updates on the game will be released throughout the week, exclusively to Gamespot.

For now, check out this teaser trailer.

The release has been confirmed for PC, Xbox 360, PS3, but also PS4 and other next-generation systems. (I.E – Microsoft’s Next Box…)
