WWE 2K17 is getting five new wrestlers in a DLC pack on January 17th, some NXT arrivals, others new additions to the main roster.
NXT stars Tye Dillinger and Austin Aries will be added to the game. The Perfect 10 and the Greatest Man That Ever Lived are two of the hottest stars not on the main roster right now. While Aries is currently on the commentary team for 205Live and seems a sure-bet for WWE’s Cruiserweight Division in the near future, Dilinger is arguably the most over competitor not on RAW or Smackdown.
Next up is Gallows and Anderson, the team sure to be the next RAW Tag Team Champions. These guys debuted early 2016 shortly after AJ Styles and have been tearing up the tag division ever since, either as part of The Club or as a forceful twosome. These guys feel like they should have been in the base game, so it’s great to finally have them in here.
Finally, Mojo Rawley. A recent’ish NXT call-up as part of the team The Hype Bros. The team recently seemed in line for a major push until Zack Ryder sustained a long-term injury. Rawley is now going to be heading solo, but which path that takes him is anyone’s guess.
This is a solid pack of characters and really fills out an already packed roster. It will cost $8.99 on its own, or $29.99 as part of the Season Pass.
