ZELDA & LUIGI SPECIAL EDITION 3DS XL CONSOLES COMING TO EUROPE

November is set to be an exciting month for Nintendo fans, with the announcement of two special edition 3DS XL consoles, one inspired by The Legend of Zelda series and the other featuring Mario’s brother Luigi, the perfect console to represent the Year of Luigi.

Leading the way from the 1st of November is the launch of the Luigi Special Edition Nintendo 3DS XL which will be available exclusively from Nintendo’s Store. Though the base layer of the console is white, prints of Luigi’s silhouette cover the whole of the console in two glorious shades of green. 2013 has been a busy year for Luigi, what with the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of his debut in Mario Bros., and the release of Nintendo 3DS titles such as Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros. Last but not least, the recent release of Wii U title New Super Luigi U saw Mario’s trusty brother take centre stage.

On 22nd November, Zelda fans who have been eagerly awaiting the release of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will be able to get their hands on The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Limited Edition  Nintendo 3DS XL console which has a downloadable code for the new Zelda game bundled in with it for superfans to download from the Nintendo eShop. The 3DS XL console itself is decked out in a very iconic gold colour covering the top shell and inside of the console, and the bottom shell completely black, with an instantly recognizable triforce logo emblazoned on each side. As shown in the picture above, when the console is opened, the double Triforce logo of the game is formed.

Both special edition Nintendo 3DS XL consoles are currently available to pre-order from the Nintendo Store at the price of £199.99.
