Assassin’s Creed crosses over to Final Fantasy XV in new DLC

In an unprecedented move, Ubisoft’s major IP will cross over with Square Enix’s legendary saga.

Ahead of Assassin’s Creed: Origins, the two major studios have collaborated on an exciting new DLC called Assassin’s Creed Festival. The Assassin’s Festival can be unlocked if you obtained a Dream Egg from the Moogle Chocobo Carnival Event. Then on August 30th, Noctis can look like one of the infamous assassins.

On August 31st, the Assassin’s Creed festival will then kick off in the game, changing the town of Lestallum into an Assassin’s den.

There will be loads of activities and things to do during The Assassin’s Festival, and also opportunities to get themed items and features that can be used in Final Fantasy XV.

You’ll be able to climb to tops of buildings and even take a leap of faith off the top into a hay stack.

It’s a huge statement from both studios and unlike anything we’ve really seen before on this scale. As Ismail, game director at Ubisoft Montreal puts it.

“This collaboration is the result of being huge fans. There’s a lot of respect between the two teams and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the opportunity to pay homage to each other’s work.”
