Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards gets reloaded in June. The game is one of the old-guard of point and click adventures and will definitely be a welcome site for PC, MAC and Linux users in just a few months time.

Al Lowe, Larry’s creator, returns to the game after over 20 years, along with the original writer, Josh Mandel. Together they will remake the game for a new audience with hi-res, hand-drawn art and animation, new puzzles, locations, humour and gameplay.

The musical score is also getting remade by Grammy-nominated and BAFTA-winning composer Austin Wintory. Al Lowe even gets on the saxophone.

Priced at £14.99, Leisure Suit Larry has been a long-time coming. Funded by a Kickstarter project, this one already has a hardcore following and is sure to make 21st Century gamers just ever so slightly curious.

These screenshots should give you some idea of the upcoming results. We can’t wait to see more.
