Little Big Planet Karting gets cross-compatibility DLC. Emergency services first pack.

It’s quite surprising how Sackboy & co have never felt the need to have their own emergency services up to now. They go through some pretty mean scrapes, and those respawn checkpoints aren’t exactly beneficial for long-term health. Fortunately, this latest content pack may just help out with that.

LittleBigPlanet 2LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and now LittleBigPlanet Karting will all receive downloadable content that turns  Sackboy or Sackgirl into emergency service providers.

Announced via the PSBlog, the Emergency Services DLC adds costumes for a Policeman, Fire Fighter, Medic or member of Sea Rescue for all three games.

The PSBlog also announced that Little Big Planet Karting will benefit from cross-compatibility DLC from LBP1,2 and Vita. What’s more, it’s completely free. What’s more, if players purchase any new costumes in the future, their wardrobe will be automatically available across all of our LittleBigPlanet titles.

Steven Isbell, Little Big Planet Community Co-ordinator, also revealed that Karting‘s first kart pack would include emergency-themed vehicle.

The Emergency Services costumes and Emergency Services Kart Pack are now available.
