Anthem DLC will be free post-launch for all players, Bioware have confirmed at PAX West.

During the Anthem panel at PAX West, Executive Producer, Mark Darrah, made it clear they want everyone to be able to play the game together. ‘For storytelling we don’t want to divide the audience, we want people to be able to experience the same stories so none of that is going to be locked.’

There will also be no loot boxes, although Mark did say ‘There will be some cosmetic stock that you can pay for but it will always be earnable.’

This will include gear and weapons which you garner by playing Anthem, some of it coming through strongholds.

Anthem releases on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on February 22, 2019.
