Baldur’s Gate 3 offers cross-save between platforms, out now on PS5

Baldur’s Gate 3 has officially launched on PS5 today and it comes with full cross-save.

So if you’ve already made a ton of progress on PC and were worried that wouldn’t carry over to PS5, fret no more. This will also be the case for other platforms, including the Mac launch due later this month and Xbox Series X|S later this year.

You just have to make sure you’re logged into your Larian Account on the relevant platform and can pull cross saving across.

What’s more, it sounds like cross-play is also something Larian are exploring for the game and it will come in a future update.

Baldur’s Gate 3 was available in Early Access on PS5 over the weekend, but now the full launch is here and in case you needed any more convincing, it’s an absolute banger.

In fact, it’s now the highest rated PS5 game of all time. That’s…kinda impressive.

The PS5 version also makes use of the DualSense Controller, changing lighting for spells on the bar, as well as making use of adaptive triggers and feedback.

You can read more about it here.
