Borderlands 3 was officially confirmed last week during PAX East and we’ve been told to expect more news today.
However, Wario64 has uncovered some images which not only show the box art of four different versions but confirm a Season Pass is coming to Borderlands 3.
It seems to be a legit leak as the official Borderlands Twitter account were quick to respond, though playfully encouraged to check out the official announcement later.
Borderlands 3 is expected to come in a Standard, Deluxe, Super Deluxe and Diamond Loot Chest Collector’s Edition.
The box art is certainly going to raise a few eyebrows but the contents of the game certainly piqued our interest.
In addition to some unrevealed Deluxe Bonus Content and Gold Weapon Skins Pack, Borderlands 3 will receive a Season Pass.
This certainly isn’t uncommon for Borderlands games. In fact, the DLC is often considered the highlight, with infamous story packs like Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep and Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt offering many memorable moments.
We’re sure to find out more about Borderlands 3 later today, and whether the rumours of a September 2019 Release Date and Epic Store Exclusivity are also true.
