Microsoft’s promise of giving two games away for free each month has been broken.
This month, they’re giving away three.
Starting tomorrow, Xbox Live Gold Members can grab a copy of Crackdown for absolutely nothing. Crackdown was an Xbox 360 launch title and is one of the better open-world, sandbox experiences we’ve seen this gen.
Following that, on August 16th, Crackdown will be replaced by Dead Rising 2 , as well as Dead Rising 2: Case Zero . Case Zero is a prequel to Dead Rising 2 and bridges the gap between the original game and Dead Rising 2.
This is part of the “Games With Gold” program which gives Xbox LIVE Gold Members 2 free games to keep each month. A new title will be available the 1st and 16th of each month.
