“Cyberpunk 2077” is CD Projekt Red’s latest attempt at an RPG, but what you probably didn’t know is that it’s going to have some multiplayer features.
After the studios success with the “Witcher” franchise, it’s no surprise that people are eagerly anticipating this Cyberpunk RPG. However, unlike previous games from the studio, they intend to add some multiplayer features to enrich the single-player game. In a recent interview with Eurogamer, CD Projekt Red’s managing director, Adam Badowski mentioned this:
It will be a story-based RPG experience with amazing single-player playthroughs, but we’re going to add multiplayer features
Not only was this confirmed for Cyberpunk 2077 but when asked about the possibility of “multiplayer features” in The Witcher 3 he responded with this:
We’re thinking about something
It’s interesting that the folks over at CD Projekt Red are trying to implement some online features into their games. Hopefully the single player experience for both of the games won’t be downgraded due to the inclusion of multiplayer.
