Destruction All Stars will have an extensive post-launch DLC roadmap, Digital Deluxe Edition revealed

One of the biggest mysteries around the PS5 launch has to be Destruction All Stars.

It’s a brand new intellectual property that’s drawing comparisons to the likes of Destruction Derby and Twisted Metal, but we still don’t know much about it.

Until now, that is. As a PlayStation Blog Post has revealed some new information.

The game will have 16 different AllStars, and you’ll be able to play solo in the arena or with teammates in a variety of different vehicles.

You’ll need to slam into your opponents and annihilate them, while also dodging and boosting your way through the competition.

If you get wrecked, you’ll have to relearn skills from another perspective as you play as one of the AllStars. If you’re lucky, you might even be able to take an opponent’s vehicle.

It all sounds great fun and there will apparently plenty to go around with the game getting some post-launch content – all completely free.

The roadmap will include new modes and features, as well as twists on current modes.

What’s more, there’s cosmetics that can be purchased in-game and if you pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition, you’ll get the following.

  • 1 Legendary Character Skin and Vehicle Skin – Embrace the darkness and become The Crow.
  • 1 Dance Emote for Lupita – Lupita shows the AllStars how it’s done in Rio!
  • 4 Banners and 5 Avatars – Add some variety to your player profile, right from the start!
  • 10,000 AllStar Currency – Kickstart your AllStar customization! AllStar Currency can be earned through online play. This boost should give you a head start on customizing your racing stripes whilst you earn the rest!

Destruction AllStars is a PlayStation 5 Exclusive launch title and it will be available from November 12th.
