Devil May Cry 3 gets Free Style Mode on Nintendo Switch

Capcom have been teasing a series of new features for the Switch port of Devil May Cry 3 and the first of those has been revealed.

The first feature has been confirmed as Style Switching, which is a feature that first debuted in Devil May Cry 4.

In the Switch version of the game, you’ll be able to press Up for Trickster, Down for Royal Guard, Left for Gunslinger and Right for Swordmaster.

As for later special styles, these can be activated with double-taps of set buttons, like double tap left for Doppelganger and double tap right for Quicksilver.

Capcom USA will be showing off the feature later today at 10pm GMT / 2pm PST / 5pm EST on their Twitch channel.

The blog post reminds everyone to add January 30th and February 13th to your calendars as well as Capcom reveal more extra features ahead of launch on February 20th.

And that’s not all we’re hearing about Dante as rumours are going into overdrive that he will be unveiled as a new fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate later today.

Seems a great time to be a Devil May Cry fan right now, but then, when isn’t it?
