A huge upgrade for Devil May Cry 5 is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X this year.
Arriving at launch of next gen systems, Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will be a digital first release.
This features a full next gen upgrade, including ray tracing and the option to prioritise resolution, targeting 4K at 30 FPS.
You can also play DMC 5 SE at 1080p, 60 FPS, and at High Framerate Mode for up to 120FPS.
DMC5SE also features faster loading times and 3D Audio. And the PS5 version also takes advantage of the DualSense controller, using haptic feedback to varied effect with Nero and Dante’s weapons. And revving up Nero’s exceed with L2.
Content wise, the Special Edition adds Turbo Mode, letting you play at 1.2x the normal speed. A Legendary Dark Knight Difficulty which features multiple times the enemies compared to other difficulties.
The big news, however, is a fully playable Vergil, with a return of the Concentration Gauge. DMC5 owners on current gen will also get to purchase Vergil as DLC.
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition seems to enhance an already great game and it’ll be available at console launch.
