A remaster of the classic Gears of War original is releasing later this month.

Gears of War Reloaded is a made from the ground up remaster of the classic original for PC, Xbox and for the first time ever, PlayStation!

It blends all of the core campaign experience, as well as the classic multiplayer and all post launch content for the game.

And if you pre-order ahead of time, you can get both the Adam Fenix and Anya Stroud Character Skins for use in multiplayer.

Gears of War: Reloaded is powered with Unreal Engine and is a remaster of the original game, with refined, modernised controls.

The game has full campaign co-op – split-screen or online – and you can fight in Versus Multiplayer at 120fps, which also supports full cross-play across all platforms and cross-progression.

Gears of War: Reloaded will have 4K assets, as well as remastered textures, lighting, shadows and reflections. It also supports ultrawide, HDR and Dolby Vision, with 7.1 surround sound and up to 144FPS in Multiplayer.

A multiplayer beta was also available to check out ahead of release for digital owners only during June.

Gears of War: Reloaded is coming back with a vengeance on August 26 on PC, PS and Xbox.
