A massive Gradius collection is releasing from Konami next week which is a dream come true for fans.

Across all 7 arcade titles in the series, there will be a whopping 17 different versions factoring in different regions and prototypes in the upcoming Gradius Origins.

Included in this collection is SALAMANDER III, GRADIUS, SALAMANDER, LIFE FORCE, GRADIUS II: GOFER no Yabou, GRADIUS III: Densetsu kara Shinwa e, and SALAMANDER2.

This will also be the first-ever appearence of the Japanese Gradius III Am Show version on Home Consoles, which is an exciting moment for fans.

In addition, there’s a lot of quality of life features in this package, such as Save States, a Rewind feature and even an Invincible Mode.

The Origins collection will also have a Training Mode that lets you customise your playthrough somewhat with restart points, loop counts and power-up statuses. As well as a gallery feature which includes music from the game.

It’s certainly a definitive collection for fans and you won’t have long to wait as Gradius: Origins launches on PC, PS, Switch and Xbox on August 7th.
