With just a few days to go before it’s released here in the UK, NIS America have unveiled some brand new screenshots and an exciting new trailer from it’s upcoming game The Guided Fate Paradox.
The story follows Renya, an ordinary high school boy, who has the sudden good fortune of winning a shopping mall lottery. His reward? He becomes God, and is landed with the task of guiding people’s fates with the help of sidekick self-proclaimed angel Lilliel. Players will tackle hundreds of randomly generated dungeons which happen to be Copy World’s of reality, and battle against aberrations to help people acheive their potential. But underneath it all lies a much much darker force at work….
Featuring the sublime artwork of Noizi Ito, the artist behind titles such as The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan no Shana, The Guided Fate Paradox is a story-based rogue like dungeon-crawling RPG that plays like a spirtual successor to PSP title Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman. With beautiful high-resolution sprites and ridiculous over-the-top special attack animations, The Guided Fate Paradox is sure to bless you with the most exciting roguelike experience you could ask for.
The Guided Fate Paradox is due for release October 25th in the UK and November 5th in the US for PS3.
