Huge changes are coming to Harry Potter: Wizards Unite within the next few weeks beginning with Update 2.12.0

The first major change will be increases in both Spell Energy and XP in 5km and 10km Portkeys.

Distance walking for Portkeys has also been cut in half until further notice, meaning 2km will now be 1km, 5km will be 2.5km and 10km will be 5km.

Landmarks have been turned off until further notice, push-notifications can now be disabled, and iOS players can now use Apple ID to sign into the game.

What’s more, there will be visual updates to the layout and startup screens, and general fixes to potions, and wizarding challenges.

The big news today, however, is that remote fortressing is coming to the game through the Knight Bus. More details are expected in the next week but this is a huge inclusion for the game.

Update 2.12.0 is rolling out on Android devices now, with iOS expected soon after.
