Lies of P seems to have a very bright future indeed and today we took the first step towards it.

In a letter to the community, thanking everyone for the game’s incredible 1m sales, game director Ji Won Choi revealed the exciting news that a sequel is in the works for Lies of P.

But before that, it appears we’re getting some updates to the gameplay and a major new expansion with a bit of a nautical flair. Updates to the game will include a Weapon Assemble system, as well as changes to the earlier stages of the game, altering difficulty and adding improvements to dodge.

There will also be an update to amend costumes, letting you seperate glasses and hats.

But the big news is the details we got in the video above, showing us where the first major DLC for Lies of P will take us. And the tease from the Director makes us wonder even more on where we’re going to end up.

Choi says… “I can promise you one thing, what I just showed you scratches merely the tip of an iceberg.”
