Some awesome guest character news for Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble with a gaming legend joining the fray.

A new update adds the Pac-Man as a playable character, as well as a new Roobt Smash Stage through the eShop. Celebrting the 45th Anniversary of the character, Bandai Namco have put together this special collaboration with SEGA.

Players will collect Pac-Man pellets instead of bananas when playing as the character. Banana bunches will also turn into cherries and golden bananas will be power pellets.

Additionally the 2.20 update adds Floral Ring – a new stage – for Robot Smash battle mode, alongside additional adjustments and bug fixes.

A playable demo is now available for Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble and your save can transfer to the full game.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is now available on Nintendo Switch.
