With all the major releases dropping lately, you’d be forgiven for forgetting about a pretty exciting looking sequel.
Journey to the Savage Planet released a few years back and was really very good! It sorted of blended a few different games types in there – some No Man’s Sky, bit of Outer Wilds, and had a truckload of humor that genuinely tickled the funny bones.
And excitingly, there’s a sequel just about to drop – Revenge of the Savage Planet! It’s even coming to Xbox Game Pass from May 8th But the best part? It’s actually playable as soon as Monday if you pick up a Cosmic Hoarder Edition.
With three days early access as well as a bonus Cinco de Mayo Trash Panda Suit DLC, Raccoon Logic’s satirical sequel can very soon be in your hands and playable.
Revenge features dynamic co-op, whether you want to play online, crossplay or in split screen and you can explore across four different planets, scanning away and unlocking new gear to your heart’s content.
The Cosmic Hoarder Edition also includes the official soundtrack and artbook, HR Enforcer Deluxe Suit, and Shama Lama’s Influencer Accelerator Program and Rewards. What’s that you might ask? Well…
This extra bit of content contains ‘four influencer quests’ where you can prove your ‘online clout’ and in return ‘gain a gold lame sweatsuit’. Looks pretty!
Revenge of the Savage Planet looks like more of the same, in the best possible way and we’re very excited to return to this world.
It’s coming to PC, Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation on May 8, with early premium access beginning on May 5.
