The brilliant Sea of Stars is set to get DLC in the future and it will connect more closely with The Messenger.
Announced during an interview with Radio Canada (and reported by Kakuchopurei) the team at Sabotage already have a team in place for game three but they’ve also set people aside for some DLC.
We know very little about the content, except that it will tie in with the studio’s first game, The Messenger. Both games are set in the same universe, with Sea of Stars actually serving as a prequel for The Messenger, so there’s lots of possibilities.
We also know the DLC will be called Throes of the Watchmaker (Thanks Games Radar) as this was initially announced as part of a Kickstarter for the game many moons ago. Back then, the DLC was said to be free for anyone who owned the game.
Sea of Stars is an absolute revelation and easily one of our favourite games this year so we’re excited to see what else Sabotage can do. The game has already sold over 100k copies and doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. It’s available to download on Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation +, but honestly we’d recommend this is one you pick up.
