Sonic Frontiers is finally out in the wide world but SEGA have left a key note about its DLC.

If you purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition you’ll get the Explorer’s Treasure Box, and SEGA have advised that you should have it installed before playing the game.

Apparently if the content isn’t installed and you exit the tutorial area of Sonic Frontiers, the content will not be valid if you try to install it at a later date.

SEGA state that this point only applies to the content in the Explorer’s Treasure Box and will not affect future items such as the Monster Hunter DLC and Sonic Adventure 2 shoes.

SEGA have also recommended you have the most recent patch installed before installing the DLC.

Sonic Frontiers is out today across all formats.
