It seems we could be set for a big week for the blue hedgehog, beginning at Gamescom.
SEGA have reassured fans that Sonic Frontiers, the first adventure for the Green Hill wonder in over five years, is still on track to release this year.
A Taiwanese listing, uncovered by VGC, seems to corroborate this and even go as far as to provide a date for Sonic Frontiers, November 15.
Perhaps more interestingly, this marketing material also points towards DLC being in development for the game. There’s no further details on it beyond that, but the material does show returning faces, such as Amy Rose, Tails and Knuckles are due to feature.
This all lines up nicely as Geoff Keighley and SEGA have confirmed there will be a brand new trailer for Sonic Frontiers debuting during Opening Night Live. One would have to assume a release date announcement can’t be far away and there aren’t too many stages bigger than ONL left in the calendar year.
