First images of the next wave of DLC for Soul Calibur 6 have appeared online.

Thanks to Avoiding the Puddle we’ve seen the third armor pack DLC from images posted on Bandai Namco’s Taiwan Instagram page.

The caption says ‘New Year, New clothes, Soul Calibur VI 3rd Wave DLC screen is the first to watch!’

This seems to show at least 10 new armor sets and accessories for the main cast, including flashing blades, ninja garbs, heavy armor, and a royal crown Princess Peach would be proud of.

The DLC follows recent arrivals of characters 2B and Tira, with two more characters expected in the post launch content. Whether one of them will also come with DLC 3 remains to be seen, or who they will be.

The new images do give us a hint of what’s coming next for the series, though, and potentially shed some light on who the next characters could be. A few weeks back a datamine unveiled there could be as many 6 new DLC characters coming, with Amy and Cassandra among those heavily rumoured.

Soul Calibur VI is now available for PS4 and Xbox One.
