Later this month, Ubisoft will give us their first take on the massive Star Wars universe.
Star Wars Outlaws is an enormous, open-world environment that will see you encounter classic figures from the franchise, as well as some familiar locations.
As with most Ubisoft titles, we can expect a Season Pass to accompany the action and it’s now confirmed there will be two story packs post launch.
If you pick up the Season Pass, you’ll also get a ‘Kessel Runner Character Pack’ and an exclusive mission ‘Jabba’s Gambit’ where you’ll meet the Hut itself.
Following launch on August 30, you’ll also be able to check out Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card in Fall 2024 where your character – Kay – is ‘hired to infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament’ but after a chance encounter with Star Wars legend, Lando Calrissian, Kay will learn there’s more to this mission than meets the eyes.
At the launch of Wild Card, Season Pass holders will also get a ‘Hunter’s Legacy Bundle’ and ‘Cartel Ronin Bundle’ offering additional outfits and cosmetics.
Then in Spring 2025, the second story pack – Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune launches as Kay runs into Hondo Ohnaka from the Clone Wars, as you try to help him settle an old score.
It certainly sounds like a busy future for Star Wars Outlaws, going into next year. And you don’t have long to wait for it when it launches August 30 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox Series X|S.
