A major new story DLC has been announced for Stellaris and it’s looking fantastic.

First Contact doesn’t have a release date yet but it offers a whole new questline, mechanics and origins for players to dive into.

The theme, of course, is first contact, which means you’ll be meeting all sorts of alien empires, but quite how that translates into new mechanics and what types of species we’ll encounter is all conjecture for now.
