Despite a rocky start, The Callisto Protocol has plenty of content planned for 2023 and the first drop is today.

Hardcore Mode has been added to the game, somehow making the game tougher, preparing to push ‘players to the limit’.

Hardcore Mode makes it harder to find drops like ammo and health, as well as increasing enemy damage and mutation speed.

Even your Stun Baton’s potency has been nerfed. There are new achievements and trophies to unlock though, and a New Game + for Hardcore Mode if you really are a glutton for punishment.

PC owners also get some Ray Tracing performance improvements, and Season Pass holders can now download the Outer Way Skin Collection.

This includes Outer Way themed player and weapons skins for all gear.

The Callisto Protocol is out now for all available formats.
