You’re never going to believe this – Skyrim is getting a re-release on current-gen systems.
To celebrate the game’s ten year anniversary, Skyrim: Anniversary Edition is releasing on November 11 and there’s a free current-gen upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
All Achievement/Trophy Progress will carry over and according to Bethesda’s blog, the current gen upgrade will ‘optimize the game with enhanced graphics, faster loading times and more.’
Anniversary Edition will bundle all DLC for Skyrim, being Dragonborn, Hearthfire and Dawnguard, as well as a new fishing mechanic.
It’ll also add all Creation Club content released at the time of the launch of Anniversary Edition and cost £47.99/€54.99/$49.99 USD. If you already own Skyrim Special Edition, however, you can upgrade to Anniversary Edition for £15.99/€19.99/$19.99.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition releases November 11 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
