Creative Assembly has announced the latest title in it’s long running Total War franchise.
Total War: Arena, announced by Creative Assembly’s Lead Designer, James Russel, during their 2013 GDC session, will be the companies first game to use a free-to-play model.
The game is being pitched as a ‘spin-off’ from the full Total War series and promises to offer players the chance to pitch the greatest commanders and generals history has to offer against each other in ‘massive team based battles’.
Details on the game are currently limited, however you can sign up for access to a closed beta over at the Creative Assembly Arena website.
