Konami have confirmed that the UEFA Euro 2020 eFootball PES 2020 update has been postponed indefinitely.
Originally confirmed to release on April 30 to celebrate the Euros, this update has been postponed indefinitely due to the impact of COVID-19.
A press release today has highlighted the content is delayed until further notice ‘with the latest state of emergency declared in Japan’.
The physical edition of eFootball PES 2020 with the Euro 2020 cover has also been postponed, though if you already own the game you’ll still be able to download the Euro Data Pack as a free update.
The Euro 2020 pack is set to recreate Wembley Stadium and will also include a Cup Mode.
Konami and UEFA have said that the UEFA eEURO 2020 eSports tournament is still scheduled to continue this year, with the finals taking place on May 23-24. The tournament will take place virtually.
