Add another one to the list. Jonathan Blow’s The Witness now has PS4 Pro Support thanks to a new update.
Version 1.03 weighs in at a hefty 3.301GB. However, it’s all worth it as Blow explains the game now renders at 1080p, 60fps, and 4x MSAA when output from PS4 Pro to 1080p display.
On top of that, if you have a 4K TV, there’s a choice of two modes available to you. You can either have a 1440p resolution, with 2x MSAA rendering – upscaled to 4k, or 4K 2x MSAA rendering, with everything running at 30FPS.
And if you don’t have a 4K TV, don’t worry as you’ll still be able to benefit from HDR support on both Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro.
The patch is available right now and we’d recomend you get downloading as if your connection is anything like ours … it may take a while!
