With the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 1.2.0 patch, Ardainian Soldier enemies have had their dialogue choices subtly edited.
During battle, the soldiers would cry with bloodthirsty rage, saying to the player ‘Think you can take me’ and ‘Don’t forget me’. And when you fought multiple enemies at once, it got a bit overwhelming.
Nintendo have edited the dialogue just slightly, though, and now changed the soundbytes to ‘Take this!’ and ‘Don’t Forget’. As you can imagine, it sounds a little unusual. What is the player supposed to be forgetting?
We guess Nintendo found the line a bit contentious and controversial. I guess we’ll never know. One thing’s for sure, those that played it pre-patch will never forget.
We also know that Nintendo have released the first batch of DLC quests for the game, which includes five different sidequests. These quests are.
- The Craftman’s Misery (available Chapter 2 and after)
- The Missing Nopon (available Chapter 3 and after)
- Abandoned Factory Exploration Tour (available Chapter 5 and after)
- The Midnight Diner (available Chapter 7 and after)
- The Scout (available Chapter 10 and after)
There also some DLC support items which include.
- Driver Essentials Set 2 (Rare Core Crystals x 10, Legendary Core Crystal x 1, Overdrive Protocol x 1)
- Tora’s Favorite Things (Juicy Samod x 3)
- Poppi α’s Favorite Things (Fizz Juice x 1)
- Driver equipment (Accessory: Auto Balancer x 1)
