Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Has A Lot Of Incoming Content

Get your swords at the ready as Chivalry might just be getting that long awaited mod support, along with a few other surprises.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is one of the most popular PC games at the moment, all be it due to it intense first person combat. However, one thing that players of the game have been asking for is mod support.

In a recent interview, the developers of the game were asked about the possibility of mod support in the form of modding tools. Thankfully, they replied with something that fans of the game wanted to hear:

I wouldn’t expect it to be too long. I don’t want to give an exact date on that, but we are closing in on it

He also went on to explain that they’re working on more gore. Let’s face it, there’s never enough gore in a game like Chivalry. Lopping off heads and laughing has now become standard practice for most players of the game.

It’s nice to see developers listening to their fans and implementing things that are requested pretty much every day. If you want to check out the interview, here it is in all of its glory:

In addition to the modding tools, something else was picked up from the video. The possibility of more customization options, along  with a long awaited UI overhaul. Seems the team are hard at work and are still trying to raise the standard for free content updates.
