Just Cause 4 to receive massive development updates in upcoming patches

Just Cause 4 has been at the centre of controversy since launch, much of it stemming from its visuals, but it appears Avalanche are working hard on future patches.

These updates will be staggered over the next few patches and include improved vegetation, water effects, and much more.

In upcoming patches, Just Cause 4 will see ‘medium-sized rainforest vegetation render shadows, regardless of … distance from Rico’

There will also be tweaks to the camera and other visibility issues.

As for water effects, Avalanche have been working on underwater visibility, tonal colours, rays of light, and surface visibility.

On top of that, there will be lots of stabilization improvements, 4k checkerboard rendering on consoles, and an overhaul of the anti-aliasing solution.

Still no word on when the official DLC will release, but it’s good to hear Avalanche are very busy at work on the game. More as we get it.
