Nintendo Network to undergo emergency maintenance from tomorrow

Nintendo confirms an emergency maintenance update for Nintendo Network services from Monday 28th January to Tuesday 29th January. In addition to recent Pokemon games, the eShop will be down during this time.

It’s unclear what Nintendo intend to fix, but we do know that network services for certain games will be hindered. The eShop/DSi shop will also be down.

Affected Services:

  • Nintendo DS
    • Network Services
      • Pokémon Black Version
        Pokémon White Version
        Pokémon Black Version 2
        Pokémon White Version 2

From Monday, January 28, 2013 5:00 PM
– Monday, January 28, 2013 6:00 PM Pacific Time

Affected Services:

  • Wii U
    • Match Making, Ranking, etc.
      • Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper

From Monday, January 28, 2013 12:00 PM
– Monday, January 28, 2013 5:00 PM Pacific Time

Affected Services:

  • Wii U
    • Nintendo eShop
  • Nintendo 3DS
    • Nintendo eShop
  • Wii
    • Wii Shopping Channel
  • Nintendo DS
    • Nintendo DSi Shop

 

While these are the confirmed services affected between those times, it’s also possible further services/games could experience problems.
