Resident Evil 7 to receive free DLC in May

The reimagined horror hasn’t even officially released yet, but according to Famitsu it is set to receive some free DLC in May.

In fact, four pieces of DLC will release in 2017 with three of these pieces of content making up the bulk of the Season Pass which will retail for $29.99.

The first DLC – Not A Hero – will be available for all Res 7 players for free, however.

While details haven’t been offered, we do know that we won’t be playing Ethan this time around. There will also be different tasting gameplay style compared to the main game. Does that mean it will revert to a third-person perspective again? Will it be a different type of game altogether, or is this less of a horror-fest/more of an action-adventure? Guess we’ll find out soon.

Meanwhile, here’s the full breakdown of the Season Pass   – This may potentially contain some minor spoilers, so if you want to go into RE7 totally blind, we’d recommend skipping this for now.
