The Walking Dead Season 3 premiere split in two parts

The Walking Dead Season 3: The New Frontier will launch with two episodes on December 20th due to the size of the game. A further three episodes will follow in 2017.

A new trailer has also been revealed at The Game Awards and in it we’re introduced to Javier and his family, as well as a familiar face. This shows the zombie virus affecting a family for the first time.

This news comes along with the fact that you can import save games from previous seasons, or start anew with the series by using a set path established by several in-game choices.

The first episode will be called Ties that Bind.

The Walking Dead Season 3 announces it will be available on all platforms – PC, Xbox, Playstation, iOS and Android on December 20th. The recent press release also suggests that release dates for additional platforms will be announced in the near future. Is that a Nintendo Switch announcement in the making, we wonder?
