We start the gaming year in a big way with the release of Hitman 3 from IO Interactive.
The franchise has had an excellent resurgence in recent years and this latest edition serves as the conclusion of the World of Assassination Trilogy. This will be playable across generations for the first time.
The game is just days away but there are a few different versions for you to consider. Here’s all you need to know about the game.
Formats
Hitman 3 is releasing on PC, PS4, PS5, the Xbox family of consoles, Stadia and PC from January 20th. A Switch version will also be available via Cloud Streaming.
DLC
Hitman 3 hasn’t announced DLC expansions at this stage, however there are several pieces of content available as pre-order incentives and as part of the Deluxe Editions.
Editions
There are two different editions of the game – Standard and Deluxe. Both are now available to pre-order.
Standard Edition
This costs up to $64.99 / £54.99 and will include the base game, as well as the digital content, The Trinity Pack. This includes new suits, briefcases and weapons for the game.
If you purchase the game on PlayStation 4, you will also get a PlayStation VR upgrade, enabling you to play the whole trilogy in VR.
Deluxe Edition
This costs up to $99.99 / £79.99 and will include the base game, as well as additional digital content. This includes

- Deluxe Suits and Items
- Digital Soundtrack**
- Digital “World of HITMAN” Book**
- Director Commentary (Mission Introduction)
You will also receive the Trinity Pack which includes new suits, briefcases and weapons for the game.
