It seems to be a good time to support old releases with new updates.
Amidst stories that all of the original Call of Duty games have had their servers updated on Xbox and One Piece 4 getting DLC 3 years later, it’s now the turn of Assassin’s Creed.
According to a Reddit User, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag has been updated on PC so all users get the Aveline DLC for free as part of the base game.
You’ll recall Aveline had a game of her own on PlayStation Vita – Assassin’s Creed Liberation – and this was her first appearance in the AC series.
Previously, it was bundled in with Freedom Cry as part of a wider season pass, but now it seems like everyone can check out this content if you’re on PC.
This is in-line with recent rumours that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag may be the next game to be receiving a massive remake. While reports are unconfirmed, this was one of the most popular games in the series and would be a welcome upgrade for one of the series’ best.
