Assassin’s Creed Mirage is coming very soon alongside a stack of DLC at launch.

In addition to an exciting crossover with Prince of Persia, as well as a beautiful artbook and soundtrack, there’s also an exclusive DLC quest available if you pre-order.

Inspired by the classic folk tale, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, an all new quest conveniently titled ‘The Forty Thieves’ will be added into the game.

Launching alongside the game on October 5th, players will play as Basim Ibn Ishaq who goes on to ‘investigate the legend of the forty thieves’.

Little else is known beyond that, though a very small video clip posted recently shows that Basim is on a quest to hunt down and defeat the King of Thieves.

He also uses the familiar ‘Open Sesame’ catch phrase in order to open up some rather large sized doors, presumably taking him closer to his target.

Finally, the video reveals that once you complete the quest, you’ll unlock a ‘King of Thieves’ Costume, which you can presumably wear at any point. That is, if you can be persuaded to switch out from your Sands of Time gear.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage launches across PC, PlayStation and Xbox on October 5th!
